I know about gold, legendary, diamond, and all the star. And worshiper, time played do not represent skill. You can always expect them on events such as holidays or Smite's anniversary, however there are some randomly so check every week or so.
Which is a heck of a lot better than normally. They have also done a triple worshipers event, but only a few times. Keep an eye out for these promotions. You can buy them in different amounts 1 day, 3 days, etc. You also get a free booster after not playing the game for 30 days a "Returning Bonus" and can earn them through leveling up as well. Suggestions for easy to play gods? Sure, though this is just my opinion. Most are not too hard, but if I had to pick the 40 easiest, 8 from each class, these would be my suggestions.
Truth be told all Hunters play very similarly. If you can play one you can play them all. No one in this pool I would consider difficult.

So pick your favourite mode and have fun.
